This is a “banjo kalimba”. The soundboard is mounted on a drum head. An amazing Wah-Wah effect can be made by opening and closing the sound chamber. The instrument stays in tune and is effortless to play. It’s tuned in a manner that allows all the notes to sound good together.
The Tuning is a Pentatonic minor base on A, with a added 9; a´, c´´, c´, a´, a, f´, e´, e´´, b´
Can be retuned.
